Before the Birth
We will go over your preferences and develop your birth plan. We will explore preparation, resources or supports you feel you need. We can discuss relaxation techniques, comfort measures, and working with your partner during labor. This is also a time to talk through your previous birth experiences and when to call your doula.
We will also make a postpartum care plan. We will go over physical and emotional recovery, and breastfeeding education. In addition, together we will strategize to set up your support system.
Birth SUpport
On call support 24/7 via text, email or phone call from 37 weeks till the birth of your baby.
I will meet you at your home or the hospital, and when needed will provide physical and emotional support to help you achieve the goals of your birth.
Postpartum
Services include 1-3 postpartum home visits usually 3 -14 days after the birth, but whenever you’re ready. During the visits, we can discuss how breastfeeding is going, baby care tips, referrals to community resources, and we will discuss your birth story.
